Scope

This policy covers the Lenguard iOS app and our customer support channels (email and Freshdesk). If you visit our website, additional website-specific terms (e.g., cookies) may apply.

Summary

Lenguard is an on-device experience. In the ordinary course of use, we do not collect, store, use, share, or sell personal data. We do not run analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. Gameplay data is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.

The only time we may receive information is if you choose to contact us for support.

Data We Receive If You Contact Support

If you email us or submit a support request, we receive the information you provide to diagnose and resolve your issue. This may include:

  • Contact details you share (e.g., email address, display name)

  • Device and app information (e.g., device model, iOS version, app version, language/region)

  • Diagnostics you choose to send (e.g., crash logs, error messages, screenshots)

  • Gameplay context you voluntarily provide (e.g., a description of in-game state or an attached save snippet)

  • Any other content contained in your message or attachments

We do not collect gameplay data automatically, and we do not maintain gameplay data on our servers. Any information received via support is used solely to analyze and process your request and not for marketing.

How We Use Support Data

  • Purpose: investigate, troubleshoot, and respond to your inquiry; improve app stability and support quality.

  • Legal bases (EU/UK, where applicable): performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and/or legitimate interests in providing and improving customer support (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). You may object where we rely on legitimate interests.

  • No sale or cross-context behavioral advertising.

How We Store and Retain Support Data

  • Storage: support correspondence may be processed by our email provider and/or helpdesk service provider acting as our processors.

  • Retention: we retain support communications for up to 180 days after resolution, unless a longer period is required by law or to establish/defend legal claims, after which records are deleted or de-identified.

Service Providers

We use Freshdesk by Freshworks, Inc. to manage customer support requests. When you contact support, your message and any information you submit (e.g., contact details, device/app version, crash logs, screenshots, and gameplay context you choose to share) are processed on our behalf by Freshdesk as our data processor. Freshdesk may use sub-processors to deliver the service. Where required, international transfers occur under Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) in Freshworks’ Data Processing Addendum.

International Transfers

If you contact us from outside our operating country, your support data may be processed in other jurisdictions where our service providers operate. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as SCCs.

Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of support data we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact support@sneakycrab.com.

EU/UK users also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

Children’s Privacy

Lenguard is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 (United States) or under 16 (EEA/UK). If you believe a child has provided us support data, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures appropriate to the nature of support data we process (e.g., encrypted transmission, restricted access). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the revised version with a new effective date. Material changes will be highlighted.
